Our drills were produced by the famous core drilling equipment manufacturer—Hydracore Drills Ltd., Canada. Hydracore has been building core drilling equipment for since 1975. The technique of Hydracore is very strong. And they can offer good service and entire course technique instruction and training.
The rigs have the following characteristics: modularized, manually-portable, high productivity, easy to disassemble, low cost, low environmental impact etc. The drills are capable of drilling NTW core to depths greater than 300 meters and BTW core to over 600 meters in most conditions. The rig is especially suitable to work in the remote and hard places.
Characteristics of the portable drills
Mobility
KAIDY can mobilize a drill to any location in the world in the cargo hold of a conventional aircraft. The unit is sufficiently compact so that everything, including rods, can be carried on roads by a single five-ton truck. Where access is limited the unit can be transported by local laborers and/or mules on footpaths. Everything is hydraulically driven, modularized and easily disassembled, so drill moves can be completed in one shift. The heaviest single component in each unit weighs no more than 180 kg.

No roads need be constructed
Because drill moves can be carried out manually, no roads need be constructed to reduce the cost for client, labour and the project period. |
Environment protection
The drill can be set up in a cleared, level space of 4 by 4 meters or less. No temporary roads need be constructed to reduce the destruction to environment. |

Great speed and high quality
One rig can drill to maximum 150 meters per day and the average is 70 meters per day. A 2000 meters drill program can be finished within 30 days. The rigs can drill at high speed with remarkable sampling rate. The average core recovery will be at least ninety five percent.
